Common problems in fabric softening finishing
With the use of automatic dyeing machine and setting machine, the printing and dyeing quality has been greatly improved and the printing and dyeing water has been greatly saved. However, some processes still need attention of textile printing and dyeing enterprises, such as common quality problems of textile finishing.
1. It can't reach the feeling it should have
The softness style of soft finishing varies with customers' requirements, such as softness, smoothness, fluffy, soft glutinous, oily, dry, etc. Different softeners are selected according to different styles. For example, softener films with different structures have different softness, fluffy, smoothness, yellowing and water absorption of fabrics; in silicone oil, the properties of modified silicone oil with different modified groups are also different, such as amino silicone oil, hydroxyl silicone oil, epoxy modified silicone oil and carboxyl modified silicone oil.
2. Alkali spot
The main reason for alkali spots is that the alkali removal after pretreatment (such as bleaching and mercerizing) is not clean or uniform, resulting in alkali spots. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the alkali removal process in the pretreatment process.
3. Poor pilling
Poor pilling is closely related to the operation of the pilling machine (such as tension control, speed of the pilling roller, etc.). For pilling, the key is to control the dynamic and static friction coefficient of the fabric when applying the softener, so the preparation of the pilling softener is the key. If the softener is not used well, it will directly cause poor pilling, and even cause bramble or door width change.
4. Strong drop problem
Generally, the strength of resin finishing will decrease, and fiber protectants, such as oxidized polyethylene wax emulsion, can be added.
5. Color change problem
After finishing, there are many problems of color change, so we must pay attention to whether the selected dyes will have color change under the action of auxiliaries. Of course, it is better to choose the finishing auxiliaries that will not cause color change, but this often has limitations (such as the antibacterial agent containing copper has its own color, and the waterproof agent containing chromium also has its own color, which will cause color change of fabric). At the same time, it should also be considered When the dyed fabric is dried, the light color and color change caused by dye sublimation and yellowing caused by too high temperature are discussed.
